FMDB Transactions on Sustainable Energy Sequence

Aims and Scope

FMDB Transactions on Sustainable Energy Sequence (FTSES) disseminates cutting-edge studies in the fields of sustainable energy systems science and engineering. Energy engineering and research are among the topics covered by FTSES, a publication that welcomes contributions from all over the world. To become the premier, peer-reviewed platform and authoritative source of information for analyses, evaluations, and assessments in the field of energy. With a core focus on energy analysis, energy modelling and prediction, integrated energy systems, energy planning, and energy management, FTSES publishes research in the fields of mechanical engineering and thermal sciences. Within the larger, more multi-disciplinary scope of FTSES, papers on topics such as energy conservation, energy efficiency, biomass and bioenergy, renewable energy, electricity supply and demand, energy storage, energy in buildings, and on economic and policy issues are also welcome to be submitted to the journal. Editors encourage articles from any academic discipline, understanding that cutting-edge research doesn't often neatly fit into disciplinary boxes. Furthermore, no energy resource, technology, system, topic, or energy service shall be off-limits to articles published in the journal.

Topics include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
  • Renewable Energy Sources/conservation and efficiency
  • Economics of sustainable energy systems/Security
  • Novel sustainable energy/ Solar thermal energy
  • Concentrated Solar/Wind energy systems
  • Biomass and bioenergy/Geothermal energy systems
  • Marine and hydropower energy systems
  • Combined and hybrid/Integration of energy systems
  • Carbon capture and storage/Energy design
  • Multi-disciplinary scope of Smart Energy
