Abstract:

This study investigates interrelationships among Tourism Impact, Airport Services, Tourism Condition, and Destination Image within the context of fostering Bali’s Sustainable Future in tourism. With Destination Image, Government Policy, and Community Behavior acting as mediators, the research was conducted in Bali through an online survey, engaging tourism stakeholders in Bali. Employing purposive sampling, 200 responses were deemed valid for subsequent Structural Equation Model analysis. The findings from the direct effect analysis reveal that Tourism Impact exerts the most substantial influence on Destination Image, as indicated by its coefficient value of 0.837. Airport services directly contribute to Bali’s sustainable future, with a measured effect of 0.518. Further analysis reveals that Tourism Impact and Airport Services exhibit substantial total effects on Destination Image, with values of 0.837 and 0.146, respectively. Bali’s Sustainable Future notably demonstrates positive total effects on Airport Service, Tourism Impact, and Government Policy, quantified at 0.537, 0.512, and 0.360, respectively. Additionally, Destination Image positively contributes to Bali’s Sustainable Future, with a value of 0.136. Contrarily, Community Behavior shows a negative total effect of -0.014 on the sustainability of Bali tourism. These findings highlight the complex interplay of factors involved in Bali’s pursuit of a sustainable tourism future.
